Delhi Teachers University Hosts National Symposium on “Pedagogy of Higher Education”

New Delhi: Delhi Teachers University proudly organized a prestigious National Level Symposium focused on the crucial theme of “Pedagogy of Higher Education.” Inspired by the forward-looking recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020, which underscored the imperative of evolving the landscape of higher education, the symposium aimed to delve into the pivotal role of pedagogy in this transformation.

The symposium served as a vibrant platform bringing together distinguished academicians from across the nation to engage in insightful discussions on the evolving pedagogical approaches in the post-NEP 2020 era. The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the enlightenment of knowledge, followed by offerings to Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of learning and wisdom.

Professor Najma Akhtar, Former Vice Chancellor of Jamia Milia Islamia, graced the occasion with her inaugural address, commending Delhi Teachers University for its initiative in fostering dialogue among academicians and administrators on diverse pedagogical paradigms. Eminent speakers including Professor Pankaj Arora, Professor Usha Sharma, Professor Bijay Laxmi Nanda, and Professor Arbind Kumar Jha, among others, enriched the symposium with their profound insights.
