Ola Electric Launches #EndICEAge Campaign to Accelerate EV Adoption in India

Bengaluru, March 14, 2026: Ola Electric has launched a nationwide campaign titled #EndICEAge to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and encourage riders to move away from petrol-powered internal combustion engine (ICE) two-wheelers. The initiative aims to highlight the growing cost and inconvenience associated with petrol vehicles while promoting electric mobility as a cleaner and more economical alternative.

As part of the limited-period campaign, the company is offering benefits worth more than ₹20,000 to customers purchasing a new electric scooter or motorcycle. The three-day offer, available until March 16, includes a ₹10,000 cash discount along with an extended eight-year battery warranty valued at up to ₹15,000. The benefits are applicable on the company’s popular S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles.

The campaign also introduces a social engagement initiative encouraging customers to share their transition from petrol to electric mobility. Buyers who purchase an Ola electric two-wheeler between March 14 and March 16 can upload their last month’s petrol bills on social media using the hashtag #EndICEAge and tagging the company. Each day, three selected participants will have their petrol expenses adjusted against the amount they paid for their new electric vehicle.

According to the company, the initiative is aimed at drawing attention to the long-standing dependence on petrol-based mobility in India and encouraging riders to switch to a more sustainable option. An Ola Electric spokesperson said the campaign invites consumers across the country to break free from rising fuel costs, frequent visits to petrol pumps and outdated mobility technology by adopting electric vehicles.

Recently, the company also announced the special Champions Edition of its flagship scooters and motorcycles powered by its 4680 Bharat Cell technology. The limited edition models were introduced to celebrate India’s third victory at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and will be available at company stores and online until the end of April 2026.

Currently, Ola Electric offers a wide portfolio of electric two-wheelers across different price segments. Its premium S1 Gen 3 range includes multiple configurations of the S1 Pro+ and S1 Pro scooters, while the mass-market lineup features the S1 X series. The company has also expanded into electric motorcycles with its Roadster X and Roadster X+ models, available with multiple battery options.

Through the #EndICEAge campaign, Ola Electric aims to accelerate India’s transition toward electric mobility while highlighting the economic and environmental advantages of EV adoption.
