Sarvha Foundation Concludes Citywide Health Drive; Thousands Benefit on World Health Day

New Delhi, 7 April 2026: Marking World Health Day with action on the ground, Sarvha Foundation wrapped up a 20-day, citywide series of free health camps across Delhi, bringing essential medical care to thousands in underserved communities from March 18 to April 7.
Staffed by experienced doctors from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, the camps focused on early diagnosis, preventive care, and practical awareness around chronic illnesses that often go unnoticed until complications arise. Beneficiaries received consultations, basic screenings, and essential medicines—along with simple, sustainable advice on diet, exercise, and daily habits.

High Community Turnout

The camps were held at community-centric locations including Hanuman Mandir, Bhairav Mandir, Gurukul in Gautam Nagar, and the Sarvha Vocational Institute at Wazirabad Centre, before concluding at Prakash Deep Building on April 7. Across venues, footfall remained high as word spread about accessible, no-cost medical support.
Findings from the screenings revealed a clear pattern: a large number of attendees were living with undiagnosed hypertension, diabetes, and arthritis. Left unchecked, these conditions can lead to serious complications. The camps therefore prioritized awareness—helping people recognize early symptoms and adopt preventive routines before problems escalate.

Preventive care is not complex: Acharya Anita

“Health is often neglected until it disrupts daily life,” said Acharya Anita, Founder and Trustee of Sarvha Foundation. “Preventive care is not complex, but many assume it is expensive or inaccessible. With timely check-ups and small daily practices, major medical expenses can be avoided. Our aim is to equip communities with the knowledge and support they need to stay healthy.”
She added that the initiative also strengthened Sarvha’s on-ground understanding of local healthcare gaps, enabling the organization to sharpen future outreach around primary care and early intervention—areas where access remains limited for low-income families.
With over 25 years of community service and more than 240 health camps conducted across Delhi NCR, Sarvha Foundation continues to work at the intersection of healthcare access, livelihood support, environmental action, and spiritual wellness. The World Health Day drive was supported by Sachin Zuttshi of Evervital Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., along with Binny Chopra and Chandan Chopra of Zymes Bioscience Pvt. Ltd..
