Smart Eyes, Silent Watch: Motorola & Arya Omnitalk Launch Privacy-Proof Security Sensor

New Delhi: Motorola, a pioneer in mobile technology, has teamed up with Indian tech firm Arya Omnitalk to launch the cutting-edge ‘Halo Smart Sensor’, ushering in a new era of surveillance that goes beyond the limitations of traditional CCTV cameras. Designed with privacy in mind, this advanced device provides intelligent monitoring without recording video or audio.

Smart Surveillance for Sensitive Spaces

The Halo Smart Sensor is ideal for locations where CCTV cameras cannot be installed due to privacy concerns — such as school restrooms, hospital wards, hostels, hotel rooms, and industrial units. The sensor ensures discreet but accurate security monitoring, offering a perfect balance between privacy and protection.

Equipped with 16 Advanced Sensors

This compact yet powerful device features 16 different types of sensors capable of detecting a range of environmental and behavioral conditions, including:

  • Air quality (CO, CO₂, NO₂, VOCs, humidity, etc.)
  • Gunshots or explosive sounds
  • Aggressive conversations or shouting
  • Panic keywords
  • Vaping and THC detection
  • Sudden changes in motion or presence

Key Technical Features

The Halo Smart Sensor operates on Power over Ethernet (PoE), making it suitable for integration into large buildings and network infrastructures. It supports cloud and edge processing and is accessible through a secure, browser-based interface for real-time monitoring and analysis.

Regulatory-Compliant Design

The device is aligned with India’s evolving institutional and educational safety regulations. It complies with NAAC’s standards for safety, hygiene, and infrastructure, and supports the National Education Policy (NEP) by providing digital surveillance that does not compromise privacy.

Wide Range of Applications

The sensor is suitable for a variety of sectors and environments, including:

Educational institutions

Hospitals and healthcare facilities

Hotels and hostels

Industrial manufacturing units

Public transportation systems and highway speed monitoring

Future of Surveillance

Arya Omnitalk CEO Paresh Shetty commented, “This sensor is a game-changing solution that offers efficient security while preserving user privacy. It is poised to define the future of surveillance technology in India.”

Together, Motorola and Arya Omnitalk are creating a new standard in smart, secure, and private monitoring, especially in environments where traditional surveillance has been impractical or prohibited.

This innovation represents not just a product launch, but a leap toward privacy-conscious, intelligent security infrastructure in India and beyond.
