Mega Hospitality Project in Powai Marks Pre-Opening Puja in Presence of Maharashtra CM
Mumbai, March 28, 2026: In a ceremony steeped in tradition and optimism, Ms. Vijayta Raheja and Mr. Nikhil K. Raheja of the K Raheja family group, along with Mr. Sudeep Jain, Managing Director (South West Asia) at IHG Hotels & Resorts, hosted a pre-opening puja to commemorate the upcoming launch of their landmark hospitality development in Powai, Mumbai.
The auspicious occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, adding prominence and significance to the event.
The upcoming project is poised to become a notable addition to Mumbai’s hospitality landscape. Envisioned as a dual-hotel complex integrated with a large convention centre, the development will offer nearly 300 keys, 13 meeting rooms, four food and beverage outlets, expansive lawns, and multiple public and event spaces. The property is scheduled to open later in 2026.
Designed to blend scale with functionality, the project reflects a strategic collaboration between the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts to create a comprehensive hospitality ecosystem catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Addressing the gathering, Vijayta Raheja congratulated Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and highlighted Maharashtra’s progressive growth trajectory. She noted that the state continues to be a preferred destination for tourism, business, and global investment, driven by strong infrastructure, ease of doing business, and forward-looking governance.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis underscored the importance of such integrated developments in strengthening Mumbai’s stature as a global hub for tourism, business, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). He congratulated the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts on the initiative.
