“Virat Tiranga Yatra” Lights Up Chandni Chowk – A Spectacle of Patriotism
New Delhi: To spread the message of respect for the national flag and the spirit of patriotism, a spectacular Virat Tiranga Yatra was organised today in Chandni Chowk under the leadership of Member of Parliament Shri Praveen Khandelwal. The procession, which began at the historic ramparts of the Red Fort, culminated at Fatehpuri, drawing a massive participation of traders and BJP workers.
The atmosphere was electric with patriotic fervour. The sight of countless fluttering tricolours created a spectacular and inspiring scene. From the roadside to rooftops, from shop fronts to the hands of enthusiastic citizens – the national flag adorned every corner. The resounding chants of patriotic slogans transformed Chandni Chowk into a grand stage of national pride.
The Yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation not just from the trading community, but also from women, youth, workers, and local residents. The pride, self-respect, and unity for the nation were clearly visible on every face.
Decorated bands, drums, shehnai, and trumpets infused the streets with a wave of patriotic emotion. As the Yatra made its way through the historic lanes of Chandni Chowk, local market associations and RWAs greeted the participants with showers of flowers and spirited cheers.
All along the route, powerful slogans such as “Har Gali – Har Mohalla, Har Dil Mein Tiranga Laharaye”, “Har Ghar Tiranga – Har Dukaan Tiranga”, “Tiranga Aan Bharat Ki – Tiranga Shaan Bharat Ki”, and “Bharatiya Samaan – Hamara Swabhiman” echoed continuously, making the event a living symbol of India’s identity, pride, and unity.
Addressing the gathering on this historic and proud occasion, Shri Praveen Khandelwal said this Yatra was not just a parade, but a reflection of deep respect and unwavering commitment towards our national flag. He further stated that the event is also a significant and decisive step towards energising the “Bharatiya Samaan – Hamara Swabhiman” campaign being run under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Shri Khandelwal emphasised that the world now fully recognises that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is not only capable of taking bold and far-reaching decisions but also possesses the unique ability to implement them on the ground with precision and effectiveness. As a result, the world today acknowledges India’s growing power, leadership, and capabilities.
He further added that traders across the nation are joining this campaign with full dedication and commitment. The business community is playing a leading role in promoting indigenous products and contributing significantly to building a self-reliant India. Shri Khandelwal also remarked that this campaign is not just about economic strength, but is also a symbol of the resurgence of India’s glory, pride, and self-reliance.
