ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Celebrated its 10th Convocation Day, President Murmu and JP Nadda attend as chief guest
Bharat mandapam New Delhi: This momentous occasion marked a decade of nurturing excellence in medical education and honoring the achievements of its graduating students. The ceremony was graced by Honourable President of India Smt Draupadi Murmu and Hon’ble MOHFW and Chemicals and fertilisers Shri JP Nadda ji as chief guest. Dr v k Paul member NITI ayog was guest of honour along with sh apurva Chandra ( IAS , SECRETARY MOHFW) ,Ms punya salila shrivastava ( IAS ,OSD, MOHFW) as special guests.
President expressed her happiness and satisfaction
Honrable president Smt Draupadi Murmu was greeted by mohfw ,director, dean and all administrative and academic heads at the entrance .the program started with national anthem followed by lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana followed by welcome address by Director Dr prof ajay shukla where he spoke about the commitments and achievement of abvims Dr RML HOSPITAL in all fields whether it’s medicine, surgery, research, yoga and even kayakalp program ( where Dr rmlh got 2 nd prize)Honourable president then awarded 36 gold medalist toppers of MD and DM/ MCH programs. Then mohfw released SAMHITA ,a new peer reviewed journal of ABVIMS Dr RML HOSPITAL and first copy was gifted to honble president of india. This was followed by speech of mohfw where he stressed upon hard work , commitment of doctors and staff of Dr RMLH which has brought abvims Dr RML HOSPITAL amongst top medical college of India. This was followed by the speech of president of india where she expressed her happiness and satisfaction on more female doctors achieving awards compared to men.she also stressed upon no violence towards health care workers and doctors and condemned it.
However she stressed upon empathy towards not only patients but their family members and caretakers also.. she focussed upon behaviour and healing touch apart from medical knowledge of budding specialists. She remembered dr ram manohar lohia and sh atal bihari vajpayee,the two stalwarts whose names are attached with this reputed hospital.she remembered the hard work of doctors and nurses during COVID times and askedvthem to focus on new technique,research specially focussed on women’s health.. lastly she asked for more incorporation of artificial intelligence and quality healthcare in modern medicine, this was followed by felicitation of Dr v k Paul,sh apurva Chandra and Shri jaideep Mishra by MS and Additional ms .

Special sponsored awards were given to meritorious students. Dr v k Paul then shared his words of wisdom by applauding the efforts of doctors and nurses in building the health care system of Dr rmlh and focused on practical knowledge, more commitment to community health and needcof special vcare towards our old parents… This was followed by award of degree to 450 students and lasted with national anthem.
